Good news, Vikings fans: Christian Ponder has seen Dumb and Dumber 200 times

Want to hear the most annoying sound in the world? It’s a Minnesota Vikings fan complaining after his team has chosen QB Christian Ponder with the No. 12 pick in the draft. But this fun fact should put their minds at ease. In an interview with the Pioneer Press on Sunday, Ponder was asked about his favorite movies. One of his replies:
“I’m a big fan of ‘Dumb and Dumber.’ It’s one of my favorite movies. It’s a classic. I still watch it. I’ve probably watched it 200 times. It’s just as funny as the first time.”
Still think the Vikings would have drafted him if they had know that? perhaps. But how about of thy had know this?:
“I was a big fan of ‘Two and A Half Men.’ It kind of went down without Charlie Sheen. It was my favorite TV show.’
Good luck there, Vikings fans. Seems like you’ve got one of those intellectual quarterbacks.

Ponder graduated from Florida State after just two and a half years in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, compiling a 3.73 undergraduate GPA. He then completed his MBA degree at FSU last May, compiling a cumulative 3.703 graduate GPA. He is currently enrolled in Florida State’s graduate program in Sports Management.
