Just my luck … I was the next guy in line at Subway while the entire staff was making this chicken salad bust of Mark Ingram. Took me seven hours to get a Cold Cut Combo on Honey Oat to go. Sad, really.
Most mock drafts have the Alabama running back being chosen among the first 32 picks today, but nowhere near the top 10. And that’s just how Subway likes their spokesmen, apparently: as the hard-working underdog. Just days after EA Sports NCAA Football 12 put him on the cover, Ingram was tabbed as a spokesman for the sandwich chain, and was awarded this delicious bust of himself made entirely of chicken salad.
And since Ingram won the 2009 Heisman but did not win it in 2010, I hope no one asked “Would you like to make this a combo?”
