In Soviet Russia, hockey fans fight players!
Toward the bottom of my bucket list, right after “poking adult male gorilla with a stick”, is this: Jumping over the glass barrier to join in a hockey fight. But that’s how they roll in Russia, where vodka flows like tap water and the consequences are proportionately insane. My favorite part of the video below is when the fan is trying to act triumphant as he’s being hauled off by an official, but keeps slipping on the ice.
