Outstanding sports parody for a troubled nation. The week in stories that are not real, but should be!
I can’t embed it unfortunately, but linked below is the outstanding NBA labor negotiations parody video that comes our way via JE Skeets and Basketball Jones at The Score. It’s two sets of political-style attack ads from the points of view of the players (Billy Hunter) and the owners (David Stern), that start out rather innocuously, then progress steadily in fervor and mayhem. Let’s just say that toward the end, Stern is portrayed as a chainsaw-wielding honey badger. That’ll give you an idea.
“I’m David Stern, I’m hopped up and Four Loko and Angel Dust and I approved this message!”
Video here. Brilliant.
