Here’s the situation: Celtics are down 86-85 with 24 seconds remaining on Wednesday, and Boston’s Rajon Rondon gets a pass off of a steal. He appears to be at least three steps ahead of his nearest Memphis pursuers … but weeeooop! decides to eschew the basket and pass to the perimeter. Afraid to shoot? Lost a contact? Secret drug that made him a star basketball player was wearing off?

The answer is shrouded in mystery. What we do know: Memphis ended up with the win, 90-87. I’ll never understand the NBA.

You are right when you state you do not understand the NBA. You showed you do not know the difference between a shot clock and a game clock. There is almost 3 minutes remaining. But I agree he should have scored.
