Mike Tyson speculates on the Oscar Awards– “Halle Berry is stupefying”

James Franco and Anne Hathaway are hosting the Oscars tonight, but if a recent segment from the comedy website Funny or Die is any indication, that job really should have gone to Mike Tyson. Displaying the comedy chops that surely got him that coveted cameo in The Hangover, Tyson is the lovable fool to Leonard Malkin’s straight-man as they discuss the finer points of the Oscar season (namely Halle Berry). Mike has some typically bizarre opinions on the ritzy gala and the recent year in film, but considering he didn’t threaten to consume anyone’s children, he handled himself pretty well. Fun for the whole family!

Tyson plays the pretentious movie critic perfectly – accentuating his natural comedic touch. He essentially plays himself as an overly confident movie buff who clearly hasn’t paid attention to movies over the past year. His counterpart, Leonard Maltin, takes his interview seriously enough to keep us laughing – even when Tyson is off camera.

Four stars! Two thumbs up! Tastier than an ear sandwich!

The full video can be seen here, and is definitely worth the time if you ever wondered what Iron Mike thought about Avatar, or are just of the opinion that he’s one of the most unintentionally (and in this case, intentionally) humorous people in this world. I’ll be surprised if the actual Oscars telecast this evening has half as many laughs.

Well, unless Charlie Sheen crashes the party. Then all bets are off.
