Which is scarier, Carey Price’s goalie mask, or this guy’s face tattoo?

This mask (no, the one on the left) was worn by the Canadiens’ Carey Price during the Heritage Classic against the Calgary Flames on Sunday. It was designed especially for the game by Toronto artist David Arrigo. They’re saying that it’s a tribute to Jacques Plante, but not being a hockey guy, I’ll have to take their word on that. Meanwhile, a man who calls himself Mad Dog Deon appeared on the Jeremy Kyle Show (it’s British) to explain to the audience, and his girlfriend, why he would tattoo his face with a skull design. Mad Dog:
“What’s wrong with it? I’m still the same person inside.”
So which is scarier? The answer of course is still Nikolai Valuev.

That mask is clever. If I was skating in on the goalie I’d be watching his eyes. It would be hard to predict where Price would be looking with this mask. Distracts the shooter and gives the goalie a nice advantage. And it is DAMN cool.
