Drink in this photo, America. Manny iz in ur Congris, makin policies. As we told you on Tuesday, Manny Pacquiao visited the White House, had a senate photo session, and then sat down to lunch with President Obama and his wife Michelle. And so purely by coincidence, Floyd Mayweather Jr. picked today to post photos of himself at the Super Bowl with George W. Bush (photo below). This back-and-forth is getting to the same point I felt about Mulder and Scully in the original run of The X-Files … will the two of you just kiss and get it over with??
Perhaps that’s not an extinct possibility, after all. In an interview with Fanhouse that occurred on Valentine’s Day while en route to Washington D.C. — and you can’t get any more morally binding than that — Pacquiao said that his camp’s first priority is still a fight with Mayweather, and that he realizes the public wants it.
“You know, I’m not picking my opponents. But if that fight were to happen, that would be good. And I will fight. I will fight,” said Pacquiao.
And speaking of impending collisions:
According to Pacquiao’s advisor, Michael Koncz, the boxer’s visit to Capitol Hill caused more than the usual amount if mayhem. “We’re standing on the corner across from the White House entrance way, and couple of ladies were taking pictures while they were driving, and then, another guy took a picture while they were driving,” Koncz explained.
“And it caused a three-car accident — unbelievable. Manny was standing on the corner waiting to cross the street, and we were standing at the entrance way,” said Koncz. “Fortunately, there was only car damage. Everyone got out of their cars and it seems like no one was injured.”
Pacquiao’s Big Washington D.C. Adventure was part of a promotional tour for his upcoming bout with Shane (You’ll get me and like it) Mosley, orchestrated by Sen. Harry Reid. It was no doubt payback for Pacquiao’s campaigning for Reid and the Democrats during the mid-term election. As for his meeting with Obama, the two talked basketball, politics and the Mosley fight. Obama then alienated Mosley fans by saying that he was pulling for Pacquiao. Will he never learn?
Meanwhile, Mayweather — in addition to releasing the photo you see here — on Saturday posted links to YouTube highlights of all three of Pacquiao’s career losses. Not sure what that proves — to me it just amplifies the case against Mayweather. Here’s the video evidence, Floyd. What are you afraid of?

Ayup. Manny don’t need to post pics, link stuff to youtube or engage in racist tirades. He just beats the asses of everyone put in the ring with him. In an open letter to Pretty Boy Floyd; I feel you Pretty; you scared. S’cool. You should be scared. You saw what he did to Margarito. It was only Pacman’s kindly nature that allowed Margarito to leave on his feet. That’s scary. And you been talking some smack, too. That’s what frightened people do. Talk. A lot. You are correct to be scared. After all that smack talk, Manny’d like to spank y’punk ass and no kindly nature for you either. They’d probably take you out of there in a wheelchair if he has his way. But here’s the thing, Pretty; you’re a good fighter. Better than Margarito. Better than Mosely. Better than de La Hoya. You might actually beat him, fright notwithstanding. So, Pretty, man up, eh? Say you’re scared, sack up, agree to a fight and get in the ring with the Pacman. Then & and only then will anyone have any respect for you.

you got that right cur66! pretty boy floyd should consider jumping inside the ring with pacquiao… and he should be scared! PBF hates southpaw fighters. his defenses are vulnerable to southpaws. and with pacquiao speed he might not see punches coming in knowing his jaw aint that durable as we’ve seen him got wacked every now and then. floyd jr if he cant handle reality will finally hide in his 0 loss record and retire, permanently. well, pac will go on being a congressman in the philippines. btw, pac still have 6 more fights before he retires. that means more money for him and more fights for us boxing fans!
