Video: Charlie Sheen explains his UCLA baseball ‘don’t do crack’ pep talk

Charlie Sheen appeared on Dan Patrick’s radio show this morning and talked about his recent visit with the UCLA baseball team, and amplified the quote he gave to the squad about drugs. Sheen said that he told them “Stay off the crack … unless you can manage yourself socially. Drink chocolate milk instead.” From CSN Chicago:
Sheen (to Dan Patrick): “Dude, check it right. So, we finish and I’m walking off and Coach says ‘Hey Charles can you run over and give the team a pep talk?’ And I looked and there they all are. So, it wasn’t like, “No coach, I can’t.” There wasn’t like I had an option. So I had like 30 feet to come up with something brilliant. I thought let’s get down to the brass tacks and tell these kids what its all about. Make it quick and then just run. Then I just realized what props I was holding. I had a bottle of chocolate milk, I had rumors that I have had problems with crack. And it just came out of me like poetry.”
The visit was first reported on UCLA catcher Richard Brehault’s Twitter feed, and then by TMZ. But my favorite part of the Patrick interview is referenced at the end of this paragraph, from SportsGrid:
Sheen also said he donated $10,000 to the UCLA baseball team. He described the nervousness he felt taking batting practice in front of major leaguers Milton Bradley, Coco Crisp, Mike Stanton, and Chase Utley (“Holy crap, I gotta hit in front of these guys.”). Also, Lenny Dykstra is a frequent guest at his house. So there’s that.
Dykstra, the former Phillie and “financial guru” who reportedly lost $58 million in less than a year and now claims that he’s broke, sleeping in Sheen’s guest room? Why is this not a weekly reality show? It’s light years superior to the basic plot of Two and a Half Men.
