Yep, this is Vince Lombardi, 38, of Kenduskeag Maine, who was arrested on Sunday for allegedly breaking into an auto parts store. Meanwhile, on the same day in Des Moines, Iowa, Aaron Rogers injured his back when a fight broke out at the Super Bowl party he was hosting, according to police. From the Des Moines Register:

Aaron Rogers, 23, of 220 Dickman Road, told police he was celebrating the victory of a man who shares his name — quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers over the Pittsburgh Steelers — when he became involved in an argument with a woman. When the argument became physical about 9:30 p.m. “… his kitchen was destroyed from food being thrown all over,” police said.

The woman’s two brothers became upset when they were asked to leave, officers said in a report. The altercation continued outside.

In Ellsworth, Maine, Vince Lombardi was arrested when cops, who had just received notification of a burglar alarm, saw him stumbling down a snowbank in the vicinity of the auto parts store.

“We assumed he was running from the audible alarm and was trying to make his escape,” Detective Dottie Small said.

The less successful, less famous Vince Lombardi was charged with attempted burglary, criminal mischief and probation violation.

So as Aaron Rodgers was hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, Vince Lombardi was being booked for breaking and entering. Meanwhile, Aaron Rogers is too sore to go to Disney World.

Bart Star, an insurance broker from Alexandria, Virginia, had no comment.
