The top 10 leaked Super Bowl commercials

Less than three hours to game time, folks. And since you’d rather be wrist-deep in avocado dip than neck-deep in commercials, we viewed all the Super Bowl TV ads that have been leaked so far, and ranked the best for you. Enjoy! And for God’s sake, use a coaster.

10. Hyundai SB Q4, Anachronistic_City. Any commercial with a Zeppelin automatically makes my list.

9. Pepsi Max, Torpedo Cooler. Someday, the Pepsi Max Torpedo Cooler will be used only for good, not evil.

8. Bud Light, Office Bike-a-Thon. Just a teaser, but it looks like it has potential.

7. GM/Chevy/Transformers, Bumblebee. My first reaction was pure admiration for a local car dealer who spent $3 million on a Super Bowl spot. Then, unfortunately, Transformers happened. Oh well, still pretty good.

6. Careerbuilder.com, Parking Lot. Noticing the Washington license plates on their cars, this did not surprise me one bit.

5. Volkswagen Beetle, Black Beetle. A car commercial which never shows the actual car? That’s just crazy enough to work.

4. HomeAway.com, Ministry of Detourism. Fox went to great lengths to avoid controversy this year, but somehow this got by. Baby’s face smooshed against pane of glass = hilarity.

3. Kia Optima, One Epic Ride. I’d actuallty like to see them cut some of the lesser commercials and let this go on for 15 minutes or so. Think of the possibilities.

2. Hyundai Elantra, Car Wash. This may not be a popular choice to be ranked this high, but I love it. It sells a product in a clever, meaningful way.

1. Volkswagen Passat, The Force. Calvin & Hobbes meets German engineering; already a classic due to 6 million views on YouTube since Wednesday.
