Last year at this time, you couldn’t make it three page views into the Internets without tripping over a Super Bowl song. Granted, one of the participating teams was the Saints, and everyone in New Orleans is a musician (it’s the law). But even Colts fans had come up with numerous musical odes to their team. It’s been like that every year for the past few years.
Except this year, for some reason. All we have so far is this woman and her cockatoo, and while it’s an impressive effort for a tropical bird, we’re not talking Grammy material. Unless Lady Gaga decides to cover it. Still, it is catchy … I love the Green Bay Pack-errrs … and fun to dance to.
So, any Packers or Steelers songs out there I’m missing? Let me know and I’ll post them here.
UPDATE: OK, they’re starting to come in. First, we have Troy Is Not a Lady, by Nina Sainato and Vanessa Campagna. (Thanks to Benjee3).
- Steelers In the Heart of Texas — Griz & the Terrible Band.
- Steeler Defense — Molly (thanks to 1065 FM).
- Creamed Cheese Song — Ronnie Ray.
- Green and Yellow — Jobes.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT
What you missed while feeding your Pacific Northwest tree octopus …
- Best tennis shot of the week so far.
- Floyd Mayweather Jr. bets $100,000 on the Orlando Magic. Sounds reasonable.
- Tampa Bay Storm Arena League coach Tim Marcum suspended for sending racist e-mails and hardcore pornography from a company computer. You should see his Christmas cards.
