This Super Bowl commercial, for Volkswagen, came to my attention via TheHappyRecap (via JE Skeets) on Twitter. Recap writes: “No need to show me the rest of the SB commercials. WINNER.” He may be right. (Video following the jump). I don’t know how much Volkswagen had to pay Lucasfilm for various rights, but it’s going to be worth it.

Prius, Passat. Volkswagon, Toyota. Same thiing I guess. Or not the same thing at all. It is a car, I guess The manufacturers in France and Italy won’t be too upset about the slight. After all they just reached Mom’s basements across the country with your post. It is a funny as though.

Re. VW vs Vader Jr add; LMA. My old man did a similar thing to me once. I claimed I was using the force to make the garage door open (it was a one-son-powered model). He popped the automatic flap on his truck’s gas tank cover. Said my aim was bad. Took me a week before I realized he had an in-cab switch that let him release that thing. Man was I bummed when I found out. He still laughs about it, the old geezer. He’s lucky force-choke doesn’t work on him.
