Video: Jimmer Fredette’s brother, T.J., raps before BYU-SD State game (y’all)

BYU hoops sensation Jimmer Fredette isn’t the only multi-dimensional threat in the family. Meet his older brother, T.J., “an aspiring rap artist” who got the crowd worked up before the BYU-San Diego State game on Wednesday night with his fresh beats. Of course, being the best rap star in Utah is sort of like being the best snowboarder in Saudi Arabia, but I’m no expert. We’ll let you be the judge. KSL.com Sports:
Last year, T.J. put together a music video called “Amazing.” He says it’s a life story of two brothers competing, having fun, and pushing each other to be great.
“Yeah, it’s the whole thing. So it was an easy song for me to write because I just had to go back and think of everything,” T.J. said. “I could have written 10 songs about it, but I just took the things that were most crucial to the song and put the words to the beat.”
So, does T.J. have any advice for his little brother on perhaps the biggest night of his basketball career?
Amazing, by T.J. Fredette:
Basically T.J. is saying that all those times he elbowed his brother in the neck during their driveway basketball games — as all older brothers do — made him the player he is today. Of course for 99 percent of us, that just means your older brother was a d***.
