One has to think that the wording of this new Nike ad was Plan B. Wonder what it would have read had the Ducks beaten the Tigers? Anyway, it seems that no other team in college football history ever ran a hurry-up offense for the majority of its plays, or went unbeaten in the regular season. Yes Oregon, you’re cool. But aren’t we a little full of ourselves, considering that only one guy met us at the airport?

So Nike features the school where the company was founded (by the track coach and track athlete Knight) in an ad after the school’s first title game appearance. Big deal. And yes, Knight donates to his school like lots of rich guys, but Oregon’s athletic and football budgets are still not in the top 25 nationally. Nothing for Rick Chandler to get upset about really.

So the cool Nike helmet changed the game?
Where does the “made in” label in the helmet show the country of origin of manufacture?
And what is so cool about their graphics anyway? Have you seen their new Basketball floor?
And the last time I checked Florida, LSU, Florida, Alabama, and now Auburn took home the BCS trophy.
If Cam does not lose the ball with 4 minutes to go and final score is 26-11 Auburn.
Not even close for the super offense of the decade that scored 49 points per game against a cream puff schedule – you won’t be back to the title game anytime soon.
