Danny Woodhead awkwardly tries his hand at selling his own jersey to the hungry public

If you haven’t already realized from the hundreds of hours of media attention focused around the fact that Patriots darling Danny Woodhead is a tiny human being who fit the Tim Lincecum mold of a guy who looks like he should be begging his mother to buy him a pack of Pokemon cards at his local strip mall, Danny Woodhead isn’t your ordinary professional athlete who plays a key role on one of the best teams in football. In fact, if you were asked if he better resembled a professional athlete or a newborn baby, you’d probably pick the latter. Modell’s sporting goods capitalized on this fact by having Woodhead go out into the real world to try and sell his #39 Woodhead jersey to the adoring public, most of which had no idea the guy trying to coerce them into buying a jersey was the man himself. Try and do that, Michael Vick.

My favorite moment was when a woman claims that he’s Danny Woodhead and he awkardly replies, “No….it’s not. That’s not who I am,” then proceeds to sell off one of his jerseys. Fred Taylor? Your day is going to come, my friend.
