The story behind the best post-game rugby interview in the history of the world

Following the jump is a bit of video excellence from England, as Saracens’ director of Rugby, Brendan Venter, is interviewed after his team’s 24-21 loss to Racing Métro on Monday in the Heineken Cup. Also following the jump, we’ll explain it all; showing exactly what Venter was doing.
Passive-aggressive doesn’t begin to describe this exchange between the appropriately-named Venter and a Sky TV reporter; at least that’s how it appears at first. Here’s the video, followed by an explanation:
It’s like an argument with my wife, only without the weeping (mine).
Here’s some background: Venter was fined $25,000 by the European Rugby Union last year for complaining about the officiating in an interview. So this time out, following another tough loss, he decided to channel British comedian Bradley Walsh, who played a rugby coach in the 2001 film Mike Bassett: England Manager. Walsh played coach Dave Dodds, a yes-man who answered questions in turnabout cliche-speak.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Sky TV reporter was in on the gag. Venter is South African, a people not exactly known for their sense of humor. So this is one to put in the time capsule.
Am I the first to notice that the left side of Venter’s face looks like the Nike logo?
