Video: Hitler finds out Cliff Lee signed with the Phillies

I’ll apologize in advance here: No matter how many times they remake this video, for me it just never gets old. It’s the latest in the line of YouTube parodies of a scene taken from the 2004 movie Downfall, in which Hitler goes postal in the presence of his officers. Hundreds of them have been produced in the past couple of years, as posters slap humorous subtitles over the action and let hilarity reign.

Poor Hitler. He’s been banned from World of Warcraft, his car has been stolen, he’s had problems with Microsoft Vista, he’s lost money on three Super Bowls, been tormented by vuvuzelas, kicked off of from Wikipedia, caught in a real estate scam, and so on. It’s actually a bit cathartic; Hitler, on an endless loop of frustration, railing at his minions, moments from a nervous breakdown, for eternity. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
