The Eagles’ Michael Vick is no stranger to prop bets. There’s the typical, such as his odds to win the NFL MVP award (7/2) and how many times he’ll be sacked this weekend against the Giants (over/under 3). And then there’s this:

(Must own a dog by December 31st 2012 for wagers to have action).
As we know, Vick said recently that he’d like to one day own a dog, just to show that he’s a changed man (still unknown: how the dog would feel about it). He’s barred by the court from owning one now, but that changes in 2012, provided he behaves himself.
So … come on, Mike! Doggie needs a new pair of shoes! Woof!

This is an easy pick. Here’s why:
This whole Michael Vick/redemption stroy has been classic. Everyone deserves a second chance right? Why not live on the edge and get a Pit Bull so that people will soon speculate is Michael fighting dogs again? That way, Michael can roll in all of the new money he’s going to make on Nike shoes and push everything to the limit again, and we as a society are forced to wonder, “is he or isn’t he?”
Got to be a Pit Bull.
