Win airplane tickets to a Richard-Branson-wears-drag flight

Nov 15, 2010, 2:11 PM EDT

Eccentric airplane tycoon, former Baywatch co-star and 212th richest man in the world Richard Branson, always up for a good time, placed a bet with fellow Formula One boss Tony Fernandes of Lotus racing earlier this year regarding the points totals for each of their F1 racing teams. Though both teams ended the season with an extremely unfortunate point total of ’0′, which according to my sources is the lowest point total a team can score on the F1 circuit, Branson’s team did worse than Fernades’ Lotus squad because of finish positions so Branson must now dress up as a stewardess on a cross continental flight that you can now buy tickets for! There’s nothing like a good session of humiliation humor that involves British’s affinity for dressing their men up in drag and walking around in public.

The two airline — and Formula One — bosses placed a bet at the beginning of the 2010 F1 championship, agreeing that the one whose Formula One team lost would serve as a “stewardess” on the winner’s airline.

Although both teams completed the season with zero points on Sunday, Lotus was placed ahead of Branson’s Virgin Racing in the rankings by virtue of their better race finishing positions. So, great, Branson gets to dress up like a woman just because his F1 team sucked less than Fernandes’.

“We have had this great bet running all season and now it’s time for Richard to start preparing himself for some hard work and the likely pain of a pair of high heels,” Fernandes said in a statement.

The money that will be raised because of the auction will be sent off to a good cause and photos of the incident better be sent off to a good cause as well: my inbox.
