Freddy Sanchez was on the George Lopez Show Tuesday night, and as it turns out he did pretty well; could a broadcasting career be in his future? (Video of entire interview following the jump). We’ve had Brian Wilson on The Tonight Show, and if Tim Lincecum doesn’t show up on Real Time with Bill Maher to discuss California’s defeated marijuana initiative, I’ll be sorely disappointed.
As for Lopez, his jokes were hit and miss. Fail: “Listen, any Latino that can get a ring without having to take it from someone, I’m the fan of.” Win: (After Sanchez tells him he lives in Phoenix) “Have you been pulled over yet in Arizona?”
Also a nice little segment on one of Sanchez’s lifelong friends, a Dodgers fan, who was forced to wear Giants championship gear after they won. Nice.
