Here’s Eagles head coach Andy Reid, circa 1971 at age 13, appearing live on Monday Night Football during the Punt, Pass, and Kick competition (video following the jump). I have no doubt that he wore the same full, bushy mustache under that Los Angeles Rams’ helmet that he has now. The video was shown by CBS on Sunday, and comes to us via The 700 Level (thanks to all who sent it to us, actually). Reid went on to play offensive guard and tackle at Brigham Young University for head coach LaVell Edwards. The kid standing behind him here went on to trade his family’s dairy cow for some magic beans.
Of course, Tauntr.com wasted no time adding man-child Reid into some classic movie posters. I particularly like Little Giants.
