Video: Cleveland responds to LeBron’s Nike ad

Nov 5, 2010, 11:32 AM EDT

I’m not sure who put this together; perhaps it just spontaneously created itself from the vacuum of space over Ohio, like some kind of a YouTube Big Bang. But it’s well done. It’s Cleveland’s response to LeBron James’ latest Nike ad. Video following the jump. Excerpt:

“Should I remind you that I’ve done this before?”

“Yeah, Boston, Game Five … you quit. We watched.”

And while we’re on the subject:

Whoever did the spoof on LeBoring James’ new NIKE ad did a great job of dogging the King of Quit for wimping out on his promise to Cleveland fans. Actually LeBoring James ought to shut up and just play ball, let his play on the court speak for him. Judging from his past losing performances in the playoffs I guess all his play has told us is that LeBoring James is a quitter when the going gets tough. South Park was so awesome to dog Tony Baloney Hayward and LeBoring James in one segment, that was so totally awesome! Hey LeBoring what should you do? Watch Kobe Bryant, the greatest basketball player in the world, lead the Repeat World Champion Lakers to a Threepeat next June while loafing on your couch like you always do!
