Ready For Halloween: The Phillies Taser Boy costume is here

Proving once again that they’re not just a bunch of serious, right-wing fuddyduddys, the folks at the Wall Street Journal have come up with some spiffy last-minute Halloween costume ideas for kids. This one of course will work for the dangerously rebellious child in the family; and his law-obsessed siblings. It’s the Phillies Taser Boy outfit. Funny. But wait, there’s more.
If money is an issue, you really can’t go wrong with a large sheet of construction paper, some Scotch tape and a pair of scissors. With these you can make a perfectly passable vuvuzela costume, and as a bonus, people can just toss candy into the opening at the top. But if quantity of candy is what you’re after, then you should probably opt for the Robert Green outfit. One look at your child’s pitiful expression will instantly bring to mind England’s goalkeeper who allowed a shot off his gloves vs. the U.S. in the World Cup. He’ll need a wagon to haul home the sweets (may not work in Britain).
