It seems like no matter where you sit at a soccer game, the brains vendor never comes to your section.
The thing I like most about this photo isn’t the horde of zombies in the middle. It’s the kids at the bottom of the picture, who would rather play Reckless Racing on their iPhone than interact with the undead. Zombies are so last decade.
The place was Stadio Olimpico in Rome, during Lazio’s 2-1 win over Cagliari on Saturday. The zombies showed up as part of AMC’s worldwide marketing campaign for its new series The Walking Dead, shuffling toward your TV on Halloween night. As part of the campaign, zombies will “invade” 26 cities around the world beginning Tuesday. Among the U.S. cities will be Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles. Also, London is on the list. Hmm, I fear that if the zombies intermingle with the 49ers, Mike Singletary won’t be able to tell the difference.
