And now, the CFL’s Cleo Lemon will favor us with a Jim Mora impression

You can view this post as your bi-yearly reminder that the Canadian Football League still in fact exists as a place where NFL castoffs and ‘never-weres’ try and prove that they don’t yet belong in that accounting firm they’d otherwise be doomed to if the CFL didn’t exist, and they too can pull off some interesting stunts! Take, for example, the recent case of a Canadian Junior Football team (See, they’re legitimate. They even have a minor league.) who decided that football just wasn’t intense enough for them so they decided to pull off their own version of the Malice at the Palace by beating up a bunch of spectators for sport. Just like our athletes! And look, they hate the overdone breast cancer pink campaign as well! How cute.
Anyways, from my good buddy Andrew Bucholtz comes this attempt by former Miami Dolphins savior and owner of a name that is best suited for an immobile house cat, Cleo Lemon, who’s the starting quarterback for the legendary (I assume) Toronto Argonauts at imitating Jim Mora’s famous ‘PLAYOFFS!?’ rant, and he does a pretty darn good job of it. For a CFLer.
For more Cleo Lemon viewing pleasure, check out this touchdown pass he threw to former Buccaneer Chad Owens that’s punctuated by a pricelessly awkward five person rowboat celebration that for some reason involves a person standing at the bow looking like a statue. Who knows how they think up there.
