Ron Artest comes out with iPhone app, finally gives you reason to purchase one

Your iPhone just became a billion times more interesting. From the never ending entertainment well that is Ron Artest comes an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show, where he showed up carrying a mystery bag that contained a football he used so he could “prove that Jimmy had athletic ability.” Also, a beard, a pair of short-shorts, and an outfit he put together to ostensibly promote the new iPhone application his technological team has created that will let fans interact with Ron and fellow fans on their iPads. You can find Artest’s appearance on Kimmel here. If things go to plan, you’ll never have to leave your room again for entertainment purposes! Though I did say the same thing about the Skip-It.

There is now a Ron Artest iPhone app that you can download, so Ron Ron is with you wherever you go, whenever you need him (via the LA Times and my man Mark Medina).

You can send messages to Artest, chat with other Artest fans who are at the game, and check out such sections as “Ron Artest’s Sports Psychology” and “Pop Topics with Ron.” All that for just .99¢.
