Dropping in on the Michigan game, from several thousand feet

Oct 15, 2010, 10:22 AM EDT

Apologies if you’ve already seen this, but I hadn’t so let’s watch it together, shall we? Sgt. Adam Sniffen of the 101st Airborne parachutes into Michigan Stadium on Saturday to deliver the game ball just prior to the Wolverines’ matchup with Michigan State. This may be a blatant recruitment grab, but that’s OK because it’s pretty awesome … especially the part where you first start hearing the crowd of 100,000 below. Of course this wouldn’t do much for recruiting if Sgt. Sniffin missed and landed in a Port-a-john, but he didn’t; he hit his mark square on the X.
Video following the jump.
