Jeez, what’s next? Joslyn James joining the Sisters of the Blessed Virgin? Sheesh.
But, alas, it appears to be true: alleged Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel is now an ordained minister for something called Universal Ministries. But before you bathe yourself in boiling Holy Water and pray for the End of Days, it should be pointed out that, according to TMZ and the church’s website, Universal Ministries “will ordain anyone, at no charge.” Wow, switch out “ordain” for another, um, less proper term, and you got the exact way Uchitel achieved her particular brand of notoriety. At least she didn’t convert to Buddhism, right?
Apparently, Uchitel became ordained because she has two friends who are engaged and she would love to preside over their nuptials. Is it just me, or does this have all the appearances of when Joey became a minister to marry Monica and Chandler? Yes, I just busted out a Friends reference. All apologies.
In any event, just a tip, unknown bride-to-be: don’t be the first newlywed to catch the minister shtupping the groom. Unless said groom is not rich and famous – then she’s all in the clear.
