Morning Tweet: Braylon Edwards asks, 'Is there a problem, offisher? (hic!)'
Sep 21, 2010, 9:00 AM EDT
More fun with the New York Jets … according to the New York Post, Braylon Edwards was arrested for DWI on New York’s west side, and had a blood alcohol level of .16, more than twice the amount allowable for humans to be driving. And it’s not the first time Mr. Edwards has been in trouble with the law. Edwards remains in lockup this morning.
I say get TV Azteca reporter Ines Sainz down to the jail to get an interview, pronto.
Anyway, it could have been worse.
UPDATE: And we have, a mugshot?

Another Jet will sit out games for disciplinary reasons, and Tannenbaum pats himself on the back for hiring these guys. Everyone gets on Rex, but he’s a great coach with a legitimate defensive scheme. Tannenbaum is a joke. He talks like a 16 yr old “Valley Girl” with every other word being “like” and “you know,” constantly validates his existence by saying how hard he works or how many hours he put into the Reveis deal, even to Woody, and then when he has to release a guy at the end of camp, his body language screams “just get out now as I don’t want to give you one more second of my time.” His title is Executive Vice President, but he’s no executive. Amazing how he’s in that job, as he’s not mature enough to lead any of his employees, much less coaches and players. Nice job waiting on Reveis! You paid the money, guaranteed, and got him hurt by not getting him to camp. Might as well have cost you another 2-3MM this year by the time he’s back to 100%. Brilliant….
