Week in Review: The jeans that launched a thousand posts

Sep 17, 2010, 6:00 PM EDT

The NFL’s decision regarding the treatment of reporter Ines Sainz by the New York Jets is in. So in the end, the punishment is the same as you’d expect at the Dunder-Mifflin paper company: A stern reprimand, and sensitivity training. That’s what NFL Commish Roger Goodell is ordering for the entire league, after ruling that the Jets “lacked professionalism” in dealing with Sainz. He will not, however, punish the team. Unless you consider those sexual harassment classes punishment. Anyway, I hope that we can now put this entire issue behind us … “that’s what she said!”
Other various stories that paraded through the locker room this week:

* Um … Go Spurs?

* Stallone MMA Rocky movie. Don’t complain … it could have been Stallone MMA Rhinestone movie.

* Corey Pavin is the Ned Flanders of golf.
