Sorry, but your dream of owning the Orlando, Fla. home where Tiger Woods crashed his SUV that fateful November night has turned to dust. The $2.4 million digs in the Isleworth gated community will be kept by Tiger, according to court records. So says the Bloomberg News, which reports that the property was transferred solely to Woods in July. His swervy, one-car mashup with a tree and a fire hydrant in 2009 led to a Pandora’s box of infidelity admissions, and ultimately to his divorce with Elin Nordegren.
A spokesman for law firm McGuireWoods LLP, which represented Nordegren, said no further details of the divorce settlement will be disclosed. A former nanny from Stockholm, the 30-year-old Nordegren will get $100 million, TMZ.com reported, citing unidentified people with direct knowledge of the property settlement.
Did anyone really think that Elin wanted that house? Every day having to face that scar on the oak tree? That fire hydrant? That bent golf club shaped like Tiger’s head that she keeps above the mantle?
