Yankees superfan is back with a brand new disturbing edition of 'Yankees Land'

Regular readers of Out of Bounds may unfortunately have the experience of recalling the name Michael LaPayower, the Yankees superfan who ruined Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” by bastardizing it in some ill-conceived Yankovician ode to his favorite team.
If that entry into pantheon of “Reasons Why Uploaded Videos By Mouthbreathers To The Internet May Very Well Cause The Demise Of Our Society” wasn’t chilling enough, LaPayower is back with a brand new video which he, for reasons known only to him, mistakenly equates with some unintentionally disturbing version of Pee Wee’s Playhouse. Frankly, I don’t see it.
The chilling, serial-killer like qualities aside, LaPayower’s video does serve a purpose: we are informed that he was August’s winner of YES Network’s “Chevy Fan of the Year” promotion, which leaves me afraid to wonder what sort of atrocities are contained in other submissions to the contest. Even better, LaPayower succinctly and eloquently explains what a walkoff win is to viewers, although my transcription doesn’t do it justice as I have omitted the awkward pauses and stuttering):
A walkoff win is when the home team, in the bottom of the ninth or later innings in either a tie game or they’re losing by a couple runs when a player of the home team either hits the winning hit or hits the winning home run and the winning team wins.
I see. So much clearer now. I only hope he explained it a bit better to the woman he is holding as prisoner in his cellar. It puts the lotion on the skin or it gets me explaining a walkoff win again and so on and so forth.
