JEG wants to criticize people for backing Tiger Woods as an athlete, what are we supposed to back him as? JEG refers to “blind love” for Tiger, you mean people who only like him because hes the best golf who ever lived? Which is the only reason anyone even knows who he is. The man is a golfer, thats all he does, the man never went on TV trying to preach to people about how to live their lives. You’re the one who obviously feels so upset for some reason, which I am still trying to figure out. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the men who run our country are the most notoriously known to commit infidelity, yet I’m sure you still vote and hopefully pay your taxes. Also, Tiger and Big Ben don’t even belong in the same conversation as each other. Ben raped a girl, Tiger cheated, huge difference. If Tiger Woods raped someone then I can understand the hate, but common man, relax and worry about your own life.

Ah, JEG, you’re a moron. Tiger is a great golf athlete but first a foremost, human. As such he is prone to mistakes and error same as you. No one I know condones his infidelity, but the normal people I hang out with are smart enough to separate his pro-athlete life from his human foibles, as long as they are not illegal or do not affect me. As far as I can tell, he never signed a morality pledge with you, people like so-called “Me” on this blog or the American public. So stop with the inane, moralistic, self-serving s**t. Maybe if you played a sport or picked up a golf club every now and again instead of “exercising” a lubed hand on your short stick every night, you’d appreciate what the man has done for golf. You people who say Tiger is only a golfer and should be judged only for what he does on a golf course have blinders on.Tiger certainly doesn’t fell that way. When he takes millions of dollars from companies to tell you what car to drive or where to put your money or any of the other companies he shills for, he’s saying in effect “I’m special, I’m important enough that you should make these decisions based on what I say”. He can’t have it both ways. wanting to be a public influence brings added responsibility, which he failed dismally to live up to.

I think you have it wrong. Tiger cashed in on an image that was a complete fraud which never would have happened if anyone knew the truth. He asked the media to leave his wife and kids alone when it first happened, but they’re flying in private jets paid for by those endorsements he achieved from his “image.” On the flip side, now that it’s over, I think it should be over. The guy obviously wanted his wife back, as evidenced by his willingness to go to some rehab joint for 45 days, and is probably heartbroken that he lost her by screwing some meaningless skanks. I’m sure that’s what has influenced his inability to keep focus on the course. To compare him to Ben is a joke, as Tiger’s trysts with those pigs was consensual, and Ben’s were not. If Ben wasn’t arrested, he should have been….
