Did the Brazilian soccer team Corinthians literally throw one of their fans under the bus? No, and that’s an insensitive remark. I give myself a yellow card. A woman, 21, slipped and fell under the back wheel of a bus carrying members of the Corinthians soccer team in Sao Paulo recently, following a party to celebrate the team’s centenary. She had been trying to get a glimpse of the players. I’ll stop now before I earn that red.
