* 2010 College Football Preview: In MS Paint. Here’s my season preview. When you need hard-hitting college football analysis, you come to Prevail & Ride. [Prevail and Ride]
* Rob Dibble Out As Nats Analyst. This is becoming a crazy day. This from Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post, MASN analyst Rob Dibble will no longer work Nationals games. He had not been working them since last week after he had urged pitcher Stephen Strasburg to pitch hurt and the pitcher subsequently being diagnosed for Tommy John surgery. [Fang's Bites]

* Can Anquan Boldin Help Take The Baltimore Ravens To The Next Level? On the quarterback situation in Arizona — specifically how Matt Leinart hasn’t secured the starting job and if he’s surprised by that: “Honestly no. That’s just because I’ve been there and witnessed the relationship between both Matt and Coach Whisenhunt. So I’m actually not surprised. I don’t really want to speak too much on that because it’s not my problem. If it doesn’t refer to anybody in black and purple, I really could care less.” [Sports Radio Interviews]
* 49ers Training Camp: Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree Exchange Words. Apparently Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree decided to take it upon themselves to inject some much needed drama into training camp. After all, it’s clearly been long enough since Kentwan Balmer went AWOL, Glen Coffee retired, and Mike Singletary called out Nate Davis. We’re heading into the fourth game of the preseason, which means we need a fourth dramatic story. It’s just natural. [Niners Nation]
* The Dancing With the Stars odds are in. Brandy 3/1, Jennifer Grey 7/2, Audrina Patridge 6/1, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino 7/1, Rick Fox 15/2, David Hasselhoff 10/1, Margaret Cho 10/1, Michael Bolton 10/1, Kyle Massey 15/1, Kurt Warner 20/1, Bristol Palin 20/1, Florence Henderson 25/1. * How Big League Baseball Can Learn From The Little Guys. The 2010 Little League World Series wrapped up on August 29th, as the international champions, Japan, defeated the United States champions, Hawaii. The team from Tokyo celebrated at the pitcher’s mound after their win by collecting dirt from the mound as souvenirs of their great achievement. That moment was a reflection of how the game has regained some inspiration and dignity. The sport was appreciated for all the blessings the players received because of it. [Outside the Boxscore]
* For the Record: Wheelchair double backflip! … Walkoff Walk blogger Rob Iracane’s dad catches home run ball at Yankee Stadium. Congrats, Bob. … Around the Horn: Mariotti on Mariotti.
