No, the “Tiger bags a cougar” remarks are nothing new; back in December we learned that one of his alleged mistresses was 49-year-old Teresa Rogers, after all. But now a celebrity web site is claiming that Tiger is currently dating a “NYC ad executive who is in her mid fifties,” and that the two are in love. Well, that would explain that opening-round 65 on Thursday at The Barclays.

Tiger has allegedly been spending a lot of time recently with a former NYC ad executive who is in her mid fifties.
“They’re a great couple, I’ve never seen Tiger so in love,” a source said.
“This might be exactly what Tiger needs. His ill fated affairs behind Elin’s back are long behind him.
“He spends most of his nights watching films and giving back rubs to the new woman in his life, who is the mother of three grown children from a previous marriage to a well known Texas financier. I have never seen Tiger so happy.”
I have more doubts about this than I do about the new M. Night Shyamalan movie, but who knows, it could be true.
Meanwhile, in further proof that the look into Tiger’s private life isn’t going away anytime soon, USA Today invoked the mistress saga today when it announced employee layoffs. The paper is laying off nine percent of its workforce, and in describing the restructuring, included this paragraph in the announcement:
“We’ll focus more on the first half hour of a breaking news story, especially if it’s on our core beats,” the presentation continued. “So if Tiger Woods crashes his car, we throw everybody we need at the story immediately and we beat ESPN and CNN. And then we’ll come back aggressively, on Day 2, and in a week or a month with a deep investigative look, if appropriate.”
God, if Tiger crashes his car again, I don’t think any of us would survive.
