I’m about ready to call shenanigans on the entire country of Japan unless they cut this out. Here’s the Hiroshima Carp’s Amaya Soichiro making a catch at — no, on — the wall, just two weeks after teammate Masato Akamatsu did pretty much the same thing. And Soichiro’s catch came against the same team (Yokohama Baystars), in the same park (Mazda Zoom Zoom Stadium) with the same pitcher on the mound (Saitou Yuki) as Akamatsu’s catch. Freaky.
