Tuesday Blogdome: Big things happening at Ole Miss

* Can’t Miss Ole Miss Walk-on Terrell Brown Because he Weighs 400lbs. BroBible reports that ex-furniture store employee Terrell Brown is an Ole Miss walk-on this year. That matters because the 380-lb., 6’11″ Brown once weighed 415lbs. That means if this whole football thing doesn’t work out, he’ll be looking for Vince McMahon’s phone number. [Bob'sBlitz]
* Dustin Johnson Didn’t Lose Sleep Over PGA Gaffe. On why a rules guy couldn’t have told him it was a bunker: “I was wondering that myself. But, it’s not up to them, it’s up to me. Obviously I never once thought I was in a bunker. I know the rules of golf very well and I know that I can’t ground my club in a bunker. But it never even crossed my mind that I was in a bunker. But that’s how it goes. I made a mistake.” [Sports Radio Interviews]

* Fireman Ed Battles Giants Fan for New Meadowlands Top Spot. Jets superfan Fireman Ed exchanged shoves with a Giants fan that was blocking Ed from leading the “J-E-T-S” cheer. The fan in blue eventually moved saving Ed from crying on national television. [You Been Blinded]
* Why Is Will Leitch Popping Up And Talking To Me On SportingNews.com? It is reasonable to suspect that the site’s relaunch as Sporting News Feed likely had a lot to do with the recent shutting down of The Sporting Blog and FirstCuts, blogs which were previously under the umbrella of the Sporting News’ site. Nevertheless, the updated format looks mighty interesting and I wish them all the best in their quest in creating a Brave New Interwebs Sports World. At the same time, I don’t know if I’ll ever recover from the oddness of seeing Will Leitch pop up on my monitor and start talking. Weird stuff. [Sportress of Blogitude]
* Also: Super Duper BMX faceplant (NSFW language).
