Morning Win: Everybody except his girlfriend's Pop was dancing to the Jailhouse Rod

How very, very droll, back page headline writers for the New York Post.
For Friday’s edition, this was how the Post elected to cover the sordid tale of the physical altercation between Mets reliever Francisco Rodriguez and his girlfriend’s father after the Mets lost to the Rockies 6-2 on Wednesday night at Citi Field, details of which I am sure most readers know about all too well.
It is now being reported that K-Rod will return to the Mets today after serving a team-imposed two-game suspension, but my guess is this story is far from over, a fact which I am sure the New York Post will be sure to take full advantage of in future photoshopped covers making light of a man’s savage, seemingly senseless beatdown.
Nevertheless, it is quite clever. Further, it would be pretty hypocritical of me to take them to task after I made light of it by parodying Elvis Presley lyrics. So I guess I’ll give them props and be on my merry way.
