You have to be careful when sifting through stuff on these here Internets. For instance, a story moved on Tuesday on Sports Radio Interviews about how Adam Sandler changed a line in his Holiday ode, The Chanukah Song, to include Amar’e Stoudemire (Stoudemire recently took a trip to Israel and has declared himself Jewish). CBS Sports then picked up the story and ran with it (seen to the right). One problem: Sports Radio Interviews was kidding … the new Sandler recut is a fake.
Listen to it here.
A rather crude paste job, actually. But when people started believing it, SRI ran an update:
Editor’s Note/Update: This is not real. This is the work of a brilliant imaging guy in Phoenix. I didn’t think I needed to put this in the post as I thought people would figure that out. It’s already been linked to on CBS Sports. Still deciding if I should feel bad or not.
Further update: The Three Stooges … still Jewish.

Hey can you at least give me a better credit line? I like the “Brilliant Imaging guy in Phoenix” line, but at least say Spanky at Sports 620 KTAR and News/Talk 92-3 KTAR. And for the record, my singing sucked!
