Incredible outfield catch can't possibly be real, or can it?

Poor Shuichi Murata. You hit a ball that far over the fence, you have to kind of assume you’re going to get a home run. But the Yokohama Bay Stars hitter is now having nightmares about this catch by Hiroshima’s Masato Akamatsu.
It’s like it was taken from the big fight scene in Kill Bill.
