Fan wears LeBron Heat jersey to Indians game, with predictable results

When this guy woke up Wednesday morning and decided “I think I’ll wear my new LeBron James Miami Heat Jersey to the Indians game,” was it the worst decision of all time, or just of this year? Before you make your choice, please see the video following the jump, in which Mr. Heat Jersey is escorted out of the stadium by cops while receiving a shower of abuse from Clevelanders. The guy and his girlfriend were “escorted” from Progressive Field for their own safety, but really they were kicked out, judging from the girlfriend’s reaction (see video No. 3, where she flips the bird at the throng).
Great thing about that; among the people screaming at him are folks wearing Yankees and Pirates shirts. Old animosities are forgotten in the face of this new menace.

As he left, some fans followed him toward the gate with more derisive chants. Various media reports indicated he was with a female companion, and that fans also threw debris at them.

His girlfriend, bedecked in a Grady Sizemore jersey and Indians gear by the way, seemed to be more upset than he was. By the time she was outside, she was in tears and screaming at the cops.
