Are you ready for an Elin Nordegren talk show?

Jul 20, 2010, 6:45 PM EST

Hey, who threw that brick? It’s not like I’m advocating this. It’s an E! Online report that Elin Nordegren — whose divorce to Tiger Woods has just been finalized, so we’re told — is somewhat interested in the gobs of endorsement opportunities that are flooding her email box. Since Elin only collected a paltry $100 million in the divorce settlement (again, according to reports), it stands to reason that she might want to boost her income. Becoming the next Oprah Bonnie Hunt might just do the trick.
Sorry; watching Elin Nordegren introducing Justin Bieber is more than I could take. I know this because it’s been the subject of several nightmares lately (help me).

“They are trying to get her to be a personality, get her endorsement deals, get her a talk show, really anything they can try and come up with that she will want to go for.”

The blonde babe’s response?

“Well, so far she hasn’t said no and seems to be mildly interested.”

As for endorsements, E! ponders how much Adidas would shell out to get Elin on board. I’d take it a step further, and have her negotiate to only endorse products that are in competition with those that Tiger endorses.
More likely: She moves to Sweden and says no to the whole thing.

Elin Nordegren “Mildly Interested” in Endorsement Deals [E! Online]

Elin deserves, arguably, close to half of his endorsement money. Tiger projected the image of a solid family man with a solid family. Squeaky clean. That’s a big factor in getting the endorsement deals he got. Buick. Nike. Accenture (Ugh). Gatorade.
Tiger without the wife and 2 kids makes less endorsement $$. She was part of the charade from the beginning, whether she knew it or not.
He should go out and find himself a new set of hotties to play with, it’ll make him play better on the course.
Move on. $100MM is peanuts to him. She deserves it. She was his partner in this endorsement enterprise, just like Kobe’s wife is by being in the runway after each game for a on film kiss. Makes him look like a solid family guy, even though he has shown he isn’t.

I don’t believe it. She has never sought the spotlight and she doesn’t need the money.
No divorce papers have been filed after nearly 9 months and that tells me there’s some sticking point. I think Elin desperately wants the hell out of America ( & who can blame her, really) and wants to live permanently in Europe and TW ain’t having it.
So she’s playing hardball, upping the ante. She’s been quietly endorsing Nike for years & I’m sure other products as well. Now, “sources” say she’s “mildly interested”? Please. She is sending Tiger a message: F**k a confidentiality agreement. I’ll say it all without saying a word.

Gotta love these ridiculous columns, but I guess they get us to respond. How do you think she got 100MM when she had a pre-nup for 20MM? He paid for her silence. If she were to have a “talk show,” which has about the same odds as me having a talk show, she’d lose the loot. Can’t we get someone to write articles that are actually relevant and interesting? I like seeing other viewpoints on topics, but this is stupid…

The witch didn’t deserve $100 million in the first damn place! Remember, they had a prenup already signed in place before all of the madness started. His desire to save his marriage initially and then to keep Elin’s silence with no tell-all books or interviews cost him another $75 million over his original prenup. Tiger may be foolish but he is no complete fool. I feel for Elin as far as what happened, to the extreme extent it did occur, and how it was all broadcast out over the airways and tabloids for all to know. But as for her “deserving” at least $300 million if not half of Tiger’s wealth, well that notion is crazy. She hasn’t contributed a single dime to the family coffers and still will come away a centimillionaire! This old fashioned and outdated judicial precedent that one spouse-if that spouse is female- deserves have the other’s net worth is absurd and unfair. Tiger earned the majority of his money before his marriage and that saved him too. As such most of his money and possessions; his Windermere address, his Gulfstream jet, and his mega-yacht, were all off limits anyway.

I feel it’s a tragedy that people are inclined to form such strong opinions about individuals they don’t even know. Re: Elin I have friends in diplomatic circles who have known her entire family for years and know them to be educated, gracious caring people with means. Furthermore, there’s been no reports, what so ever, that Elin pursued him.
My hope is that the children will be able to grow up away from the negativity this unfortunate situation has caused a multitude of individuals. Just think about it, how many women, have been deemed “trash”.

The talk show story is bunk. She’s been associated with TW for a decade and has NEVER sought publicity. It’s a divorce negotiation tactic….I think she wants out of the U.S., with the kids (or at least the freedom for long, extended vacations) and TW won’t budge.

I believe Glenda you think that her identity rivals that of her parents. I knew her parents and you are wrong, people in the public eye are much different than they are at home. For example: In public do you pull the wedgie out of your *** like you would at home? Or would you find a nice little corner and well, you know extract it?
C’mon stop playing dumb blonde games and live in reality.
Social circles? Whjat the political sphere of cold, calculating, liars who manipulate others to get what they want?
I am laughing at your ambivolence and malice of Tiger Woods!
Forgive the man, you werent married to him she was and she played wife until she got her escape. Fine for her, she is now a rich nanny, swimsuit babe( ugh)! who is now independant and strong willed…blah blah blah… what a terrible wife! Great mom in public eye, wannah be murderer by night. What about her indescretions anyone want the scoop on her, how much are you willing to pay? lol. She needs to get back home and care for her kids. She doesnt know how good she still has it, and he wants her back. HER! I can name so many women of all races who would love to have him and be his wife just to support him, and he has her to go home to?
    scoff!

Elin pursued him via Jesper Pernevik and his wife. Jesper was ******* her first and Tiger needed to rescue her from the all night partes where she entertained this elite community the Perneviks encoursged, check out her early photos, yeah she was even a smoker.

  9. Zaia - Aug 19, 2010 at 9:34 AM

Oh reallly do you know personally this woman ? …. I don’t think so .
Shut up your ugly mouth please. You are beyond ridiculous.
Elin has shown grace, class and poise throughout not only this scandal but also when she was married to Tiger. This is why you are so jealous an bitter towards her ????
What did she do to deserve such hatred comments is beyond me ….
It’s Tiger who pursued her who wanted to date her and marry her. He chose her as the mother of his children. So put the facts straight before posting your ignorance.
If Tiger had just a bit of class that Elin has maybe he wouldn’t be in this mess right now.
Go back to your miserable life YOu loser and stop bashing someone you know nothing about !!!!
    Poor American society .
