About the only good thing to come from the LeBron James Decision dog and pony show was this parody video featuring Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd which was shown during the ESPYs. In it, Carrell grimly announces that his “decision” is to take his dining business from Chili’s to his new favorite restaurant, The Outback Steakhouse. “Ultimately I felt that Outback had the Bloomin’ Onion and I needed to go there.” Ha. But Chili’s knows a good marketing opportunity when it sees one, and jumped at the chance to do a parody of its own. Following the jump, the letter Chili’s just released — al la Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert — in which Chili’s president Wyman T. Roberts denounces Carrell and declares that “Chili’s will never betray you.”

Yep, a parody of a parody. And please note that Carrell and Rudd didn’t just happen to come together by chance to create their parody video; it’s more or less a promotion for their soon-to-be-released movie, Dinner For Schmucks.
And Old Spice also jumps on the bandwagon:
And of course John Mayer:

sports-related charity:
I am riding a bicycle across the USA to raise awareness for a wish organization. They put up front row tickets for people of all ages battling life threatening illness (sports and concerts). I want to raise awareness for the charity. I am doing everything I can to get additional exposure for this 60-day trip. http://www.firstgiving.com/rideforthefront
