Every time you think that Andrea McNulty might be occupying the high ground in her ongoing drama with Ben Roethlisberger, she says or does something that knocks her back a few spaces. McNulty filed new charges against her former employer — Harrah’s Hotel and Casino — on Thursday, claiming that they forced her to resign after she claimed that Roethlisberger raped her at the Lake Tahoe hotel in 2008. In doing so, she invoked the name of Jaycee Lee Dugard, the young girl who was kidnapped and assaulted for 18 years before being found last year. No criminal charges have been filed in the McNulty-Roethlisberger case, but McNulty has a pending civil lawsuit. The Nevada Supreme Court is reportedly deciding where to try the case.

In the documents, McNulty claims she was essentially forced to resign — and in her lawsuit, she describes packing up her desk … where she kept a photo of Jaycee Lee Dugard.
McNulty explains, “I love [the picture] because she has been through such trauma but if you look closely she still has a twinkle in her eye.” She claims she kept the photo on her desk because “it gives me strength.”
Dugard was kidnapped from a school bus stop within sight of her home in South Lake Tahoe, CA, in June of 1991.
As for McNulty, the photo and her quote about Dugard: Does the defense really need any more evidence of your wingnuttery? Would keeping quiet until the trial be a good option? Yes, it would.

Whether she is telling the truth or not, this would be the time to maintain military silence! She doesn’t need to do anything to damage her own credibility before this case hits the courts.
I wonder why the sudden motivation to sue the hotel. Why didn’t she file that case when she filed her civil case against Rothisberger. Makes one wonder if she thinks her chances against him are weak so she’s sueing the hotel to force an out of court settlement. A big hotel chain like Harrah’s would come closer to settling just to make her go away and avoid negative publicity.
