This won't help Terrell Owens' chances of getting signed at all

Terrell Owens is soldiering on, hitting the courts at Rucker Park to basketball with a gaggle of fellow C-list celebrities, only to find himself embarrassed not by his mouth as everybody expected, but by his fading athleticism. A young lad nicknamed “Miles High” struck down upon the head of T.O. a dunk so monstrous it instigated a cavalcade of “OOOOOOOOOH’s” and “HOT MAMA’S” from the boisterous Rucker crowd.
Something tells me T.O., who was accompanied by fellow attention-mongering wide receiver Chad Ocho Cinco, actually enjoyed getting the facial, because it allowed him to receive an extra ten minutes of the spotlight his soul craves.
Owens, who’s had one of the most pitiful offseasons in recent memory, has basically been announcing all summer that he’d be open to play for ‘X team’ only to find out the ‘X team’ has no interest in signing him. This charade has brought the Bengals, Redskins, Chiefs, Ravens, Dolphins, Titans, and probably several other teams to his lips to no avail. The latest team to be put on Owens’ list of wishful thinking? The Patriots.
Free agent Terrell Owens told WEEI in Boston that he’d “definitely be open” to playing for the Patriots in 2010. The question is whether New England would have him.
“I mean, you’ve got (Tom) Brady there. You’ve got the great mind, coach (Bill) Belichick,” said Owens. “I’m like LeBron (James). I can go there and take less of a role, take less money and put everything aside and make it work.”
Who knows if T.O.’s going to have a team by the time the season starts. My bet is some team desperate to sell tickets, like the Jaguars, will scoop him up for a one-year ‘rent-a-receiver’ deal worth a few million dollars in an attempt to coax fans into thinking they’re actually trying to win. And if T.O. can’t finagle himself one of those deals, there’s always the option to blame the media. Or play with JaMarcus Russell and Daunte Culpepper in the UFL.

The problem with Owens is that he is a whiner, complainer, and just a pain in the rear.
Right now he is saying, why won’t they hire me…give me a job. Once he gets a job, that whining will transform into…give me the ball, why can’t you get me the ball, why was only one ball thrown my way, I’m the best player on the field so get me the ball, where’s the ball, why did he get the ball…
That is the problem with Owens. He was TeamObliterator for his first 3 teams…just because he was good for one season, while freezing his rear in the cold of Buffalo does not mean that he won’t return to old Team Obliterator self. Teams have figured it out…sometimes it just doesn’t pay to play with TeamObliterator.
And Owen’s, this is not collusion, just common sense. I was first hand how he was with the Niners, so I was amazed that Dallas and Philly took a chance. They learned and now, even Buffalo didn’t give him a contract. It might be the Canadian league for you Owens…or that terrible reality show that no one watches.

What a joke TO is. Hope he gets rejected by the NFL, ad pubically by some UFL clubs as a pre-emptive attack.
