So your favorite athlete has forsaken your team and opted to head off to another city. Most fans can throw out his pictures, burn his jersey, or paint over the car that they had adorned with his number and team colors. But what do you do if your tribute was a little more, ah, permanent? Here’s poor Aaron Ahart, circa July 2009, showing off his very elaborate LeBron James tattoo. This self-proclaimed Cavaliers superfan must now be sifting through a wreckage of emotions, trying to make sense of a world in which your heroes can simply pick up stakes and leave, even though you’re wearing them, literally, on your sleeve. Why, Lebron? Why?!
But the tattoo isn’t the saddest part. Video following the jump.
Yeah, Aaron shelled out big bucks some time back to purchase an Adidas mouthpiece, used by James when he was a sophomore in high school. I suppose he can sell that, and get some of his money back. But how do you get back a piece of your soul?
Perhaps he can join a support group along with this guy.

If you are that big of a fan of a player it shouldnt matter where he plays he is the same guy and what fans forget is the NBA is a business and the owners have left the players high and dry more than the players have left the teams high and dry. Good for Lebron to do what is going to make him happy that is the way it is supposed to be in life.
