Yep, here’s video of Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand being pulled over on suspicion of DUI, eventually registering a 0.20 on the breathalyzer, which I’m pretty sure means that his body contains more alcohol than water. It’s a lengthy video, but you won’t have to wait long for the best part: When asked how much he’d had to drink, Lewand says “Not a thing.”
Sheriff’s officer: “Then what is that I smell?”
Lewand: “I don’t know. Breath mints?”
Lewand later apologized for the incident and said that he is in “active recovery,” and the Lions have indicated that he would continue as team president.
Well, Lewand is still in better shape than this wingnut.
