If Josiah Schlatter is such a great intern, why does my coffee have a Lego in it?

Pau Gasol may be the most versatile seven footer in the NBA, for totally un-basketball related reasons. When he’s not observing spinal column surgery, shaking his beautiful hair or showing the world how you should REALLY pose for Rolling Stone magazine, he’s flexing his golden pipes to help the little kiddies of UNICEF. Yes, Pau Gasol is singing and he is brilliant at it. Ron Artest isn’t the only Laker with a mind-blowingly awesome piece of music to his name (well, Kobe tried rapping about six years ago but that was just mind-blowingly bizarre).

Pau, who says he studied music for five years before he took to the NBA, has recorded an anthemic R&B extravaganza entitled Get it Together.

Just days after Artest dropped his explosive single, Pau — aka The Singin’ Spaniard — hit a North Hollywood recording studio on Monday to bang out a song of his own called Get It Together.

We can only hope that someday there will be a Broadway musical about the Lakers singing in the shower. Ron and Kobe can rap, Pau will sing the chorus, Luke Walton and Adam Morrison can finally contribute to the team by banging on walls, Sasha Vujacic can stand around looking pretty and Lamar Odom can brag about how his wife has slept with 152 music producers who’d be happy to record them.
